CYBER SUMMER CAMP
Exclusive content FREE for Canton City School students
What is Cyber Summer Camp?
The Buckeye Council, Boy Scouts of America headquartered in Canton has designed a virtual camp experience for kids that focuses on STEM based education around space flight and space exploration. NASA has partnered with us to provide exclusive, live interactive webinars each day of the camp! Youth will learn about robotics, space flight, astronomy, space exploration, and careers in space-related fields, as well as conduct experiments, learn how to train like an astronaut, and more. The program is designed to engage youth and their families in a variety of fun, purpose-filled activities. You can check it all out on the Home Page.
Typically, our camps are designed just for Scouts, but this one has been specifically built so that any youth can participate. We already have more than 1,000 people signed up from 44 states and 5 countries!

Buckeye Council, Boy Scouts of America
For more than 100 years, Scouting has helped build future leaders by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun and adventure in the outdoors. We care passionately about what is happening to kids and our communities – and are dedicated to supporting an exciting, quality program that builds better young people and our future leaders.
In the Buckeye Council, Scouting continues to improve families and our community by serving more than 8,000 youth in 12 counties in North Central Ohio: Ashland, Carroll, Columbiana, Crawford, Holmes, Marion, Morrow, Richland, Stark, Tuscarawas, Wayne, Wyandot in Ohio and parts of Hancock county in West Virginia.
The Buckeye Council is divided into seven geographical areas called districts. Each district is made up of local Scouting units called Cub Scout Packs, Scouts BSA Troops, Venturing Crews, and Exploring Posts. These units are chartered to a local school, religious organization, or community center.
